the short version: we keep as little as possible, only to send you news about new songs and to show the wall. no ads, no tracking, no selling anything to anyone.
who looks after your data

what we keep
- if you join the list: your email address, the date, and that you said you are 16 or older, or that a parent said yes.
- if you write on the wall: your line, which song it is about (if you chose one) and the date. we don't ask for your name.
- to stop spam on the wall and the list: a scrambled code made from your internet address, which can't be turned back into the address. it is deleted after 24 hours.
the site has no analytics and sets no cookies of its own.
why
because you asked: you joined the list, or you wrote a line. you can change your mind at any time.
the wall
jaqueline reads every line before it goes up. lines are checked for swear words, links and contact details, and some never appear. lines that don't go up are deleted within 30 days. if you want a line of yours taken down, email us the text and roughly when you wrote it.
under 16
if you are under 16, please ask a parent before you join the list or write on the wall.
where it is kept
- the list and the wall are kept in a supabase database in frankfurt, germany (eu).
- the site is hosted by vercel.
- the music player comes from spotify and only loads after you tap play. from then on, spotify's own privacy policy applies to that player.
how long
your email stays until you leave the list. lines on the wall stay while the wall exists. every email we send has a way to leave the list, or just write to us.
your rights
you can ask to see what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete it. write to hello@withjaqueline.com and we'll answer within 30 days. you can also complain to the romanian data protection authority (anspdcp, dataprotection.ro).
